The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held around the world to raise money for cancer research in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope. September 18th the Enfield 2937 Royal Canadian Army Cadets and the 133 Branch Royal Canadian Enfield Legion will be celebrating 20 years of contributions and fundraising. Cadets are to arrive at 7:00am Sunday September 18th and meet in the basement of the legion. Registration will start at 8:00am following the cutting of the ribbon and the start of the run. All ages welcomed, there will be water stations set-up along the route and run by 2937 Cadets. The route is 10 km along sidewalk from Enfield Legion to Elmsdale Irving and return. There will also be a 5km and a 1km mark as well. This will be finishing up at 11:00am. There will be t-shirts for purchase at the registration table.
